Neschen and Erfurt introduce new digitally printable wallpapersLeading German wide-format materials manufacturer Neschen AG has teamed up with 150-year old wallpaper pioneer Erfurt & Sohn KG, to introduce a range of non-woven, textured wall coverings that can be custom digitally printed by solvent, eco-solvent, latex or UV processes.
Additionally, owing to the tactile, textured nature of these papers, graphic designers are finding applications for them in book coverings, posters, promotional items and special pages within short-run books. At the recent Viscom 09 exhibition in Duesseldorf, Neschen-Erfurt Digital Wallpaper won the “Innovation in Wide-Format Award.”
Five textured surfaces are available in 750mm x 40 metre rolls and, as with all Starleaton products, local stockholding and support will be available, including an application guide. First shipment arrives December 7th.
